This demonstrated not only his expertise but also his generous spirit and desire to give back to the community.
For three decades, Thomas Lawyer and his wife Georgia made Elk Grove their home. Known for his signature cheerful exclamation, “Swell,” Thom brought joy and positivity to those around him. The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to the VA Spinal Cord Injury Clinic in Palo Alto, Paralyzed Vets of America, Kaiser Home Health Care Team, and the Veterans Administration In-Home Care Team for their compassionate support and care.
Despite facing the challenges of Multiple Sclerosis, diagnosed in 1993, Thomas Lawyer approached life with unwavering positivity and became an inspiration to many. His resilience in the face of adversity was a testament to his strong character and optimistic outlook. The profound support from friends, who he often referred to as his ‘arms and legs’ over the past 31 years, was deeply appreciated by both Thomas and Georgia.
